Applications for the use of Accessibility facilities are now open.
Please note that there is no separate ‘accessibility’ ticket category, so please buy a standard Isle of Wight Festival ticket first, and then later apply for use of the accessible facilities. There is no need to buy a ticket for your essential companion. Essential companion tickets are allocated through the application process.
Ticketing Advice
Customers 13 years and over on 18 June 2026 should buy a Weekend ticket.
Children 12 years and under on 18 June 2026 will need to be accompanied by an adult with a paid for ticket, this includes child customers applying for an essential companion ticket. Please buy a Child ticket and a Weekend ticket.
Before applying for use of the accessible facilities
You need to have bought your Isle of Wight Festival ticket before you apply.
There is no need to buy a ticket for your essential companion. Essential companion tickets are allocated through the application process. More details about Essential Companion tickets can be found here.
You will also need to have either a Nimbus Access Card or Digital Access Pass. If you don’t have one, you can register with Nimbus for a free Isle of Wight Digital Access Pass here.
Please note that registering for a Nimbus Access Card or Digital Access Pass is not the same as applying for the use of accessible facilities at the festival. You must still complete the application form once you have your Access Card or Pass.
Applying for use of the accessible facilities
Have your ticket booking reference and your Nimbus Access Card or Digital Access Pass ready.
Complete the Isle of Wight Festival Accessible Facilities application form.
The Isle of Wight Festival Accessibility Team will review your application.
You’ll receive an email once it’s processed. The email will tell you what facilities you will be able to use. You should get the email within 5 working days.

Notes on completing the application form
Please make sure you enter your personal details on the application form exactly as they appear on your Access Card or Pass. This includes the spelling of your name(s).
Please submit a separate application for each accessibility customer that wishes to apply for use of the accessible facilities.
Temporary impairments
Please note that our accessible facilities are unable to cater for people with temporary impairments. A temporary impairment is anything that affects an individual for less than 12 months such as broken bones, healing injuries or pregnancy.
An essential companion ticket is provided, free of charge, to those customers who would be unable to attend without the help and support of another person.
There is no need to buy a ticket for your essential companion. These are allocated through the application process.
Your essential companion must be aged 18 or over.
They must be willing and able to fulfil all your requirements and must provide assistance to you during the unlikely event of an evacuation or other emergency.
If the customer approved for an essential companion is a child of 12 years or under, they must also be accompanied by an adult that has purchased a ticket. The child cannot attend the festival with the essential companion alone.
If you need different people to assume the role of your essential companion throughout the festival, please indicate this on your application in the Additional Information section.
Raised Viewing Platforms
There are raised viewing platforms next to the Main Stage, in the Big Top and in Electro Love for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. Access to the platforms will be approved as part of the application process.
Only the approved customer and a companion will have access to the raised viewing platforms. This allows us to accommodate as many customers who require use of this facility as possible.The raised viewing platforms will have ramped access, seating, charging points, wheelchair-accessible toilets and drinking water.
The raised viewing platforms may get busy. Please note that they are operated on a first come first served basis.
The raised viewing platform next to the Main Stage is not covered so please dress appropriately for all weather conditions.
Ground Floor Viewing Areas
Dedicated ground level viewing areas are available to those who need a less crowded area and the option of sitting for short periods of time. Access to the ground level viewing areas will be approved as part of the application process.
The ground level viewing areas are situated in front of the raised viewing platforms and are separated from the main crowds by a barrier. These are primarily standing areas, although limited seating is available and is operated on a first come first served basis.
Customers may be accompanied in the ground level viewing area by a companion.
Accessible Toilets
Wheelchair accessible and standard toilets for accessibility customers are located across the festival site.
HDU Changing
There are Mobiloo units in the main arena accessible campsite and the yellow accessible campsite featuring an adult changing bed, toilet, sink, and hoist. (Please note that hoist slings will not be available. Please remember to bring your own.) All accessibility customers can use the HDU changing units, whether camping or not.
Accessible entrance lanes
There are dedicated entrance lanes for accessibility customers to access the festival.
Bars
Dedicated accessible lanes are available at each main bar. This section of the bar has a lowered counter and bypasses the main queuing system.
You can bring prescription medication to the festival but please ensure it is in the original packaging with the dispensary sticker intact.
If you need to bring in loose medication or medication that’s not in its original packaging, please also bring the prescription(s) with you.
Medical Marijuana
Medical marijuana prescribed for daily use may be brought into the event.
Please bring the medication in its prescribed form together with the original prescription supporting its use for the entire duration of your time at the event. You may be asked to present this, along with identification matching the name on the prescription, upon entry.
There are 2 accessible campsites at the festival. One is located next to the main arena, and one is located in the main campsite (Yellow Accessible Camping). If you request accessible camping on your Accessible Facilities Application Form you will be advised in the confirmation email as to which campsite you are booked into.
The accessible campsites have their own dedicated entrance. They are secure, safe spaces where the accessibility team and stewards will be based throughout the festival to assist you.

Pitch Size, Group Size and Gazebos
We aim to accommodate as many customers as possible in the accessible campsites. To assist us with this, please be aware of the following:
You will be allocated a pitch based on the information provided in your application form. Please be respectful of your neighbours and only bring tents appropriate for the size of your party.
You will be permitted to camp with a maximum of three other people (this includes your essential companion).
You may be asked to move or remove your gazebo if it is taking up too much space. We ask that you consider fellow campers when pitching your gazebo.
Campervans
If you want to bring a campervan, please select this option in your application form. If your request is approved, the accessibility team will send you a link to purchase an accessibility campervan ticket (subject to availability).
If you are camping in one of the general campsites, there will be accessible toilets and showers available. You can also use the facilities in Yellow Accessible Camping.
There will be an internal shuttle bus and buggy service available to help customers with accessibility requirements move around the festival site.
Accessibility Car Parks
Accessible parking is free but must be requested on your application form. Blue badge holders do not automatically qualify for accessible parking and must please still apply.
Accessible parking is limited to one parking pass per accessible customer.
You will be allocated space in one of the accessible car parks when your application is approved.
There is a dedicated accessible car parking in the Red Car Park for camping and non-camping customers.
The Main Arena Accessible Campsite has its own car park.
There are also a limited number of parking spaces in our Main Stage Accessible Car Park for non-camping customers. This car park is located on a grass area at Gate A6, next to the Accessible Box Office and approximately 200 metres away from the Main Arena and the Viewing Areas. Please be aware that these spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis to accessibility customers who use wheelchairs or have restricted mobility.
There will be an internal shuttle bus and buggy service available to help customers travel between the accessibility car parks and the rest of the festival.Pick Up and Drop Off for Cars and Taxis
The drop off area for accessibility customers is located at Gate A6. From here it is approximately 200 metres into the Main Arena.
Wristband Collection
Essential companion and accessibility wristbands will be available to collect from the Accessible Box Offices when you arrive at the festival. They will not be posted in advance.
Accessibility Guide
Customers who have applied and been processed for accessible facilities will be sent an Accessibility Guide prior to the event.
Ground Conditions / Weather
The Isle of Wight Festival site has the benefit of some existing hard standing and temporary trackway routes, in certain areas.
However, please be aware that the festival primarily takes place on grass fields with some sloping areas.
It is also important to be aware that, during wet weather, the site is likely to become muddy and become more difficult to navigate.
Hearing Loops
Hearing loops will be installed at all box offices.
Effect Lighting
Smoke machines, strobe lights, lasers, fireworks, and other effects may be in use at this event. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind.
Medical and Welfare
Medical and welfare facilities are available throughout the festival.
Doctors, paramedics, first aiders, and fully equipped ambulances are based at the medical centre.
Security and Stewards
In the unlikely event of an emergency or site evacuation, Security and Stewards are deployed throughout the festival. They will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety.
They are also briefed to offer information, help and support.
If you are unwell or require assistance, please approach a member of the Security and Stewarding Team who are clearly identifiable by their numbered tabards/shirts.
